Loom Footwear Review: What We Think After 4 Months

Loom footwear was developed to be the ultimate year-round shoe that can be worn on any terrain while still being environmentally friendly. They say that their shoes are waterproof, windproof, comfortable, secure, and fashionable, but do they live up to their claims? This is something we’ll look at in this post.

The sneakers are classified on the Loom footwear website for $250, and I will not pay $250 for them. Who would? Sneakers 250.00, please. They always seem to have a sale going on, at the time of writing they have the best sale I’ve ever seen! You can get them for $99.

Are Loom Sneakers All that?

Loom Footwear Waterproof Sneakers are breathable, anti-odor, lightweight, flexible, and earth friendly. There are two colors to choose from: black or white. Men’s sizes are available from 6 – 13 and women’s sizes from 5 – 11. The listed price is $249.99 US. At the time of this post, these sneakers are currently on promotion for $99.99.

I chose, the reviewer, the black Loom waterproof sneakers for men in size 10. Loom Footwear waterproof sneakers are made in the U.S. A thin layer of removable merino wool cushion material for the insole. If you are used to a more defined and supportive insole, these probably are not for you. There is room to add your own insoles, but I am not sure how that would affect the performance of the shoe.

The more I wore them the more comfortable they were

I thought for sure because they are waterproof there was going to be sweat but my feet have never overheated. Loom Footwear Waterproof Sneakers are definitely waterproof! The water rolls right off them. Rubber eyelets for the shoelaces began to tear after a few wears. The body and sole of the shoe seem as durable as any other shoe of this type.

Overall

I think the Loom Footwear Sneaker is a nice shoe. They are comfortable enough for everyday wear, but I would not want to spend 8 to 12 hours in them. durability, for me, was an issue.

Are loom shoes good?

Loom sneakers are excellent! During my trekking last week, it protected my feet from the small puddles, shallow snow, and gnarly mountain trails full of rocks, thorns, and angry plants that proved fine shoe quality as well!

Returns & Exchanges

For sanitary reasons, returns and refunds are not accepted for Loom shoes that have been worn. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

We only replace items if they are defective and within 7 days of delivery. Please provide proof that the unit arrived damaged and send the unit to our Returns & Exchange department for verification. If our engineers conclude that the item was defective due to customer error, an exchange will not be possible. However if the product was deemed defective upon arrival, you may request to exchange the defective unit for the same item.

And their Refund policy

Refunds
If you purchased a Loom Footwear product and were not able to accept delivery for the product and the product was returned to us, you will be eligible for a partial refund less the cost of shipping ($20-30 depending on your shipping region).

However, for sanitary reasons, returns and refunds are not accepted for Loom Shoes. To be clear, all sales are final – no refunds will be available on any Loom Footwear products once delivery has been accepted.

If you already accepted delivery of the product, you will not be eligible for a refund. You will only be eligible for an exchange if your product is defective within the exchange period.
